Luxury Shopping in Lisbon

Avenida da Liberdade

In the heart of Lisbon is the charming Avenida de Liberdade (Liberty Avenue), which connects Restauradores square to Marquês de Pombal square.

Inspired by the Champs-Élysées in France, the Avenida da Liberdade boasts luxury shops and national and international cuisine. With several lanes and Portuguese-style pavements and beautiful gardens, this is the main street in Lisbon for shopping in the most expensive shops specialised in women's and men's fashion.

On Avenida da Liberdade is the multi-brand Fashion Clinic, where you can buy clothes, shoes and accessories from brands like Prada, Miu Miu, Tom Ford, Zuhair Murad, Dolce & Gabbana, Givenchy, Jimmy Choo, Kenzo, Louboutin, among others. On the Avenue you can also find shops like Versace, Prada, Burberry, Furla, Guess, Gucci, Cartier, Michael Kors, Guess and Louis Vuitton.

Castilho Strett

Castilho Street is one of the noblest areas of Lisbon and is practically an extension of Avenida da Liberdade. In this area is promoted the street commerce, being one of the most disputed streets in Lisbon by international brands looking for a location with charm.

On Rua Castilho is the Loja das Meias, a multi-brand shop where you can buy brands such as Dior, Celine, Alice & Olivia, Missoni, among others. This noble street also has brands such as Gerard Darel, Intropia, Karen Millen, La Perla, Stefanel, The, Stivali, Veste Couture and Wickett Jones.

Amoreiras

Amoreiras Shopping Centre, located less than 300 metres from Dom Pedro Lisboa Hotel, is one of the most iconic spaces in the city and the two towers are already part of any image or photograph of the Lisbon skyline.

This is the oldest shopping centre in Lisbon, with some shops present since it opened, such as Vista Alegre and Loja das Meias.

The bet on fast fashion was important for the development of Amoreiras Shopping Centre, with the entry of Zara, Bershka, Mango, Calzedónia and Women Secret in the shopping centre's shop portfolio. Still, the highlight is on the big luxury brands, such as Hugo Boss, Guess, Bimba Y Lola, Giovanni Galli, Lion of Porches, and Swarovski.

Crafts Shopping in Lisbon

Príncipe Real

Príncipe Real is the new fashion neighbourhood in Lisbon and is a great shopping destination, full of stylish, different, and sophisticated shops.

Explore the streets of Príncipe Real and you will find art galleries and unique crafts shops, such as the wool shop "STRÓ", the toy shop "Quer" and the regional products shop "Madeira Shop". You will also find a shopping gallery in the Ribeiro da Cunha Palace with several concept stores.

Príncipe Real also has a crafts and antiques fair, which takes place in the pleasant and quiet space of the garden, on the last Saturdays and Mondays of each month.

LxFactory

LxFactory, in Alcântara, was an abandoned industrial area of Lisbon until it started to gain a new life in 2005. Today, several design, arts, and advertising companies, as well as shops, restaurants and bookshops have settled in the space.

In this area with an industrial atmosphere, there are numerous crafts shops with original concepts: Saudade Design, which sells rugs, cushions and yoga mats woven by hand in Portugal; Comur, with around thirty varieties of preserves meticulously crafted using artisanal production methods; Indústria, a Portuguese brand of accessories and menswear, which was born out of a passion for traditional manufacturing processes; among many other craft shops.

Downtown Lisbon

Crafts in Lisbon are associated with souvenirs and the Chiado and Baixa Pombalina (Downtown Lisbon), where most of the shops are sought after by the foreign public.

If you look carefully, you will find several shops dedicated to selling handmade products, such as Figurado de Barcelos, a space dedicated to showcasing the crafts of this region in Portugal, which goes far beyond the well-known Barcelos Cockerel.

Make the most of your stay with the Dom Pedro Lisboa Hotel. Close to the best places for luxury shopping and crafts in Lisbon, our hotel is an obvious choice for those who wish to discover the Portuguese capital in a convenient, central location. Pay us a visit!
